We are in Eclipse season. This is a time for powerful transformation through the shadow. It is also a time for reflection and so, let’s turn back the clock and see where we have been in 2023.
- 2023 is the Year of Mastery.
- January to June, life was about Mastering your unique you-ness.
- July’s energy was about making the big SHIFT.
- August was the month for Breaking Through!
- September was the month for Realization, for making REAL your I-ness

Now we have on October 28, 2023 the Lunar Eclipse Taurus Full Moon to Manifest Altruism.
Let’s start by looking at the definition for Altruism. According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary the definition is:
“unselfish regard for or devotion to the welfare of others.”
Now let’s look at the definition for Eclipse.
“An obscuring of the light from one celestial body by the passage of another between it and the observer or between it and its source of illumination.”
Translation: This is an opportunity to illuminate – or not – the shadow that is obscuring “unselfish regard for or devotion to the welfare of others,” both inside and out.

TAURUS LUNAR ECLIPSE INNER BEAUTY MEDITATION:
Transforming the shadows of Purposelessness & Selfishness:

- Close your eyes and take THREE deep breaths.
- Say “Hello” to yourself and have yourself say “Hello” back.
- Now imagine on one side of you is Purposelessness and on the other side is Selfishness and invite them to go on a walk with you.
- Allow yourself at least a minute to walk with them. While you walk, connect to how they make you feel, bring your awareness to this feeling but don’t get lost or overwhelmed in it.
- At the end of the walk there is a door. You open it and on the other side is a room full of white light and you all enter it.
- Ask Purposelessness and Selfishness to share on the walls of this white room any pictures or expressions that they have gathered along the walk.
- When you are ready, ask your Soul or Higher-self what is it that you want me to know about what is being shared with you.
- After you have received this information take out a washcloth and imagine you are wiping away all the negative charge that Purposelessness and Selfishness has share with you. When you are done let go of the washcloth and let Mother Earth absorb it back into the earth to be transformed and healed.
- Thank Purposelessness and Selfishness and let them go.
- Now imagine you attach a cord of white light to the top of your head and in this light is the energy of Altruism. Imagine this light moving down into your head and flowing smoothly through your body to the bottom of your feet and connect it to Mother Earth to ground this energy into fertile ground to grow in.
- When you are complete, open you eyes.
This Lunar Eclipse Taurus Full Moon is illuminating the fear that aligns with selfishness. Through this tension is the drive that lights the “unselfish regard for or devotion to the welfare of others”
